If primer does not detonate when hit by a firing pin, then the most common reason is that primer is not seated deep enough. This problem is quite common in new XL750 presses since the original primer punch spring is a little too long. This caused the primers to not seat deep enough.
Our custom primer punch spring is just a bit shorter than the original one and will eliminate this problem. It works with small and large primer slide assemblies.
